The trap he will inevitably face is the lie of our culture.
The lie of our culture is no longer mediocrity.
The lie of our culture that will waste your time and guarantee feeling lost, feeling worthless and constantly seeking an answer--as you grow more and more cynical of the stories being sold to you on social media--is the lie of fast and easy self-help.
One of the things I have been best at for the last 15 years is giving men in their 20s and 30s their best lives, for the rest of their lives.
The real road to personal excellence is not easy, it is not quick, and it is not always fun.
But the result is clear.
It means you live with the life you want, you’re confident, you have the best relationships, and you have wealth in your lifestyle.
The Lie Of Self-Help
I have always hated the quick fix. I have always hated the idea of the immediate solution with little effort.
I understand you want to have power, find the best success, get ‘that’ girl, and have total dominance over any problems that comes your way, but sadly the self-help market has exploited this.
This is part of the massive lie that leads so many men down a road of confusion and self hate. The lie that kicks men off the road to personal excellence and on the road of depression, angst and always thinking there is something wrong with them they need to fix…just to get the big dream they are being sold - the girl, the riches, the superiority.
This is how complex the lie is. It gives you a taste of all of that…it may even give you your ‘dream’.
That all slowly becomes a nightmare, because you walked the wrong road. You will be unfulfilled, you most likely won’t get what you wanted, but if you did, it will be even worse. Regardless you blame yourself and you think, ‘this wasn’t for me’, or ‘I did something wrong’.
I could go on and on, but I am sick of talking about the problem when there is a solution and you want that solution.
In order to have a great life, it means you need a complete life as a complete man.
This will mean shedding of the skin you once wore. It will mean working through your fears, all in tandem of walking hard in a focused singular direction.
The struggle of a man (young or old) turning into a great man means truly shedding of all the skin that has held him back.
On the road to the thousands of men I have led to live lives where they have the careers they deserve, the relationships that make them grow, and the wealth of their lifestyle, means they do the deep work required for personal excellence.
The road is hard and long, but it keeps paying off for the rest of your life…and we have proof.
